美国设计师Louis Minott于1965年首次为Visual Graphics公司创建了显示字体Davida。Davida是一款尾端带有装饰性球形的全大写字体，让人想起20世纪初的工艺美术设计。Davida同样能够代表60年代末和70年代初的刻字潮流；它的字形似乎捕捉到了一种迷幻精神。
American designer Louis Minott first created the display typeface Davida for the Visual Graphics Corporation in 1965. Davida is an all-caps font with decorative ball terminals reminiscent of early 20th Century arts and crafts design. Davida is equally capable of representing lettering trends of the late 60s and early 70s; its letterforms seem to capture some of the psychedelic spirit that came into the air soon after the font's release.
